Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced AI Team Lead on a contract basis to guide and manage a team of AI engineers and data scientists in delivering scalable and innovative AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in AI/ML, leadership experience, and a strong understanding of project management in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists through the design, development, and deployment of AI solutions.
• Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and developers to define AI project goals, scope, and deliverables.
• Review code, models, and architecture for quality, scalability, and best practices.
• Define and enforce best practices in model development, versioning, testing, and deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest AI research and tools to guide the team in adopting suitable techniques.
• Manage timelines and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in AI/ML roles, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or managerial role.
• Strong proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar.
• Hands-on experience in NLP, computer vision, or recommendation systems.
• Solid understanding of model training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools is a plus.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage remote teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in AI development and leadership.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and NLP.
• Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
